L’Azienda Agricola Cascina Nirasca nasce del 2002, per volontà di due soci: Marco Temesio e Gabriele Maglio.
Con il passare degli anni affiancati dal giovane Nicolò Temesio.
The company is located in Nirasca (a small hamlet of the town of Pieve di Teco), in the province of Imperia, at the heart of the Arroscia Valley, nestled in the mountainous area just above the road that leads from the Ligurian Sea to Piedmont.
Ci troviamo nel cuore della Doc Ormeasco di Pornassio, la Doc più piccola della Liguria, con paesaggi molto caratteristici e unici. I vigneti dell’Azienda per quanto riguarda questo vitigno sono tutti fra i 450 e gli 810 metri s.l.m. a soli 25 km dalla costa. Questo microclima così particolare fornisce ai vini una particolare piacevolezza accompagnata da profumi fruttati molto intensi e un carattere molto deciso; vini tipici, molto legati al territorio dove coltivare non è per nulla semplice: vigne in montagna con poca

The company's vineyards cover almost 5 hectares, both owned and leased, all directly managed, meticulously controlling the entire production chain: the land, winemaking, and bottling.
The total number of bottles produced is approximately 35,000 bottles per year (depending on the vintage).
The wines produced are the whites of the Western Ligurian Riviera (DOC R.L.P.), namely Pigato, Vermentino, and Vermentino Superiore, made from the vineyards the company owns along the Ligurian coast, as well as Ormeasco di Pornassio in all its traditional and classic variations: the rosé version (named Ormeasco Sciac-trà), the red version, and finally the Superiore version. On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary, "Nirasco" was created, a cru of Ormeasco made from grapes coming from the "Villai" vineyard, a historic vineyard with plants ranging in age
compresa fra i 20 e i 60 anni, sito in Nirasca. Con la sua altitudine di 810 metri s.l.m. è la vigna più alta della Denominazione Ormeasco e con tutta probabilità la più alta dell’intera regione Liguria. Questo vino viene affinato per 12 mesi in barriques e tonneaux di secondo o terzo passaggio.
In addition, from this fantastic grape variety, a white wine is produced, the "Nirasco Bianco," made from red grapes harvested early. This wine ferments and ages entirely in stainless steel to enhance its freshness and pleasant drinkability.
